Also known as Ponderosa, cenote EDEN is located 3 km south of Puerto Aventuras and 25 km south of Playa del Carmen. A big and beautiful cenote, like a swimming pool in the middle of the jungle. Large boulders covered by mosses and plants at the bottom of the cenote are home to a variety of fish, freshwater crayfish, and abundant aquatic plant life.

TAJMA HA

This cenote, which has a lot to offer cave and cavern divers, is located 28 km south of Playa del Carmen.

The cavern line takes the diver, from the entrance to a large half-air, half-water room an air- filled bat cave. Here, light enters through holes in the ceiling and penetrates the water like laser beams during the summer months. Littered across the cavern floor are hundreds of stalactites lying in the sediment. Perhaps the result of a catalytic event.

Continuing the dive, you enter the Sugar Bowl, a second small cenote where you can see an incredible light show on sunny days. Tajmaha is decorated with stalactites and stalagmites and many hidden fossils can be spotted if you search for them. The halocline in the deeper zone creates interesting mirror effects resulting in a cenote of unearthly beauty, Cenote Esmeralda.
